Thank you all for your patience these past few months and apologies for going ghost mode!
Last fall I entered the graduate sociology program at Kansas State University to pursue an MA in sociology. I am working under the direction of Travis Linnemann, author of Meth Wars and The Horror of Pollice, among other titles. Travis does brilliant work at the juncture of sociology and critical criminology and I am honored and privileged to be studying with him at K-State.
If you are a paid subscriber and have not yet received a copy of Drugism, please send me an email at rado@ksu.edu and I will get it sent out ASAP. I’ve emailed most of you but have not heard back from several people (understandable—life is busy, junk folders, etc.).
Posts will resume going forward, though due to my course load and teaching assistant duties I may not be able to post as often as I’d like. Additionally, since I have already shared most of the content from Drugism, I will focus more on current events in coming posts, as I have done in the past with my Drugism Dispatch series. I am also posting notes and excerpts from my forthcoming High and Mighty: How People in Power Use Drugs here.
Again, thank you all for your continued support and understanding in these hectic times!
With gratitude,
Vince
Happy to hear things are going well Vince. Cheers
