A dear reader recently asked if the chapter about ketamine from Drugism is available online. I wanted to reply: it is, sort of. I’ve shared almost the entire chapter at this point, but it remains scattered in bits and pieces amid the rest of my Substack posts. I realize this is inconvenient for those of you who are interested in reading, for example, the ketamine chapter from start to finish.
Although I still haven’t uploaded the whole chapter quite yet, I decided to assemble all the excerpts I have shared so far, in the order in which they appear in the book. Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone interested in my work on ketamine who does not have a physical copy of the book.
Just a heads up: this is almost certainly more than anyone can reasonably handle in one sitting. Think of this as a reference post, a sort of mini-table-of-contents to the ketamine chapter, which is titled “Mystical Medicine, Wicked Weapon: A Both/And Approach to Ketamine.” Anyone who is interested in reading the rest of the chapter—and the book—can head over to my website, illicit.news, to grab a copy.
Stay tuned for more content from illicit.news ;) By the way, I currently run the website entirely on my own, with support from readers. I’m currently working on an interview with Niko Vorobyov, author of Dopeworld: Adventures in the Global Drug Trade. The interview should be up by the end of the month.

Well, that’s almost the whole chapter. If you’re just itching to read the rest right now, you can grab the book from my website. I love to hear what readers think, so please feel free to let me know in a comment below.
If you like my work, keep an eye out for my next book, High and Mighty: How People in Power Use Drugs. I am almost finished, and have a separate Substack for that one. Check it out here:
Thank you for sharing Vincent.
